The 411 on our Candidates Astrological Charts

My Dearest Readers,

This week on Focs News’ Gossip Column we will be analyzing our Democratic candidates' astrological charts. For those of you that don’t know me well, I am a Virgo, therefore I am highly qualified to do this, trust me.

Starting with my personal favorite chart, Hope Johnson, our very own Progressive Party Candidate. She has a Capricorn sun, Virgo rising, and Aquarius moon. Now I know this might not mean anything to some of you, so allow me to explain. Johnson’s Capricorn sun means that when she sets her mind on a goal, she will stop at nothing to achieve it and she knows how to get things done. She has a need to fulfill her life with worthwhile projects and passion, to be recognized, and to be successful; she wants to change the world and I really believe that she will. Her Virgo rising would usually mean that she is shy and closed off, but due to the fact that she has a Capricorn sun, these characteristics are undermined. This allows for her other Virgo qualities to shine through. Virgo risings are extremely resourceful, and everything they do must be perfect. We can see this reflected in Hope’s campaign through her organization and skill at addressing any issue the right wing media ( :/ ) springs upon her. She has successfully cleared her name every time, and her image remains intact. Lastly, let's talk about her moon in Aquarius. This is arguably Hope Johnson’s most controversial sign, where her worst qualities lie. People with a moon in Aquarius tend to have strong egos, very powerful defense mechanisms, and a deep rooted need to be “different” or “unique”. I’m not saying that Hope Johnson is “not like other girls”, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s thought this about herself once or twice.

Next up is Anthony B. Armstrong, candidate for the American Labor Party. I won't lie and tell you that I like his chart, because it is absolutely terrifying. Mr. Armstrong has a Cancer sun, a Cancer rising, and a Leo moon. These three placements together make my skin crawl; let’s get into it. Cancer placements are known for being moody, specifically for being cry babies. Not only that, but they’re closed off, insecure, and resistant to change. If I had to name a good trait about Cancer placements, I guess it would be that they are non confrontational and care deeply about other people's feelings, but are these traits we want in the next president of Omarica? His Cancer rising is not quite as scary as his sun, simply because the traits are not as strong and prominent. They are usually gentle people, and people are drawn to them since they provide a sense of comfort and security. Their downfall though, is the fact that they are shy and tend to withdrawl or retreat into themselves when things don’t go their way. Leo moons are heavily influenced by the other placements in their charts. Since Armstrong’s sun and rising are both in Cancer, it makes his Leo moon muted and, honestly, boring. It makes him introverted and shy, but controlling of the people close to him. They hate admitting that the things under their control are not running smoothly, so they tend to ignore things when they do. Now that just sounds like disaster waiting to happen in the oval office, am I right or am I right? They’re dramatic, which does not mix well with Armstrong’s overly dramatic Cancer placements Leo moons do have one redeeming quality though; they ultimately care about their people and will do what they feel is right to defend.

I am not suggesting that you base your vote solely on these candidates’ astrological chart, but if you happen to be torn between the Democratic candidates, just know that Hope Johnson has the stars and the planets on her side.

XOXO,

Becky
